Your task context belongs to you. Next Step Cards is built to work without an account or tracking.

What stays on your device

Your active card, re-entry history, quiet hours, print choice, and optional license token are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB or local storage. We do not receive them. Exported files go only where you choose to save them.

Reminders

Reminder times are stored on your device. If you grant notification permission, your browser or installed app may show the action text in a local notification while the app is running. You can revoke permission in browser or operating-system settings.

Purchases

If you buy the optional supporter edition, checkout and refunds are handled by Sociobot/Dodo, the merchant of record. This app sends the license token to the Sociobot verification endpoint and caches only the result and check time. Payment-card data never enters this app.

Network and analytics

The app has no advertising, behavioral analytics, third-party fonts, or tracking scripts. The hosting provider may keep ordinary security and access logs. After first load, the core app and your cards work offline.

Delete or move your data

Use “Data & settings” to export JSON or CSV and clear history. To remove all local data, clear this site’s storage in your browser. Uninstalling alone may not clear browser storage.
